How ugly is this suburb of Cairo? Even its name is ugly - victory - victory of what, I'm not so sure. It consists of building after building of concrete - I mean, just a glance at the photo reveals the utter tastelessness of the place. It reeks of the army everywhere you go - their 'fine' touches are everywhere. And they don't even have a single bar there. All they have are malls - really horrible ones, like Ginena mall, and wonderland. What kind of names are those anyways. And lets not forget Teeba mall......the ugliest of all. And why the hell do they have so many malls in the first place? And it is always crowded, it doesn't matter what time of day it is. It seems as soon as people enter this god foresaken place, they immediately want to u-turn and leave, thus the traffic jam. And let me not get started with the people that live there - those are another story altogether. It seems they actually think they're 'cool' because they live there, not realizing that no one in their right mind would even consider having a meal there, let alone live there. I think if I was given the choice of living in Nasr City or living in Saudi, I would have to choose Saudi - yes, it is THAT bad.

okai lets start, Nasr City is not called so after the meaning of "Victory" but it was called after the name of the great warrior comrade Nasr El Hamalawy & he's one of the oldest warriors & comrades who set the city free & then the survivors there called the city after his name u can check on the Wikipedia for more info & tells about Nasr El-Hamalawy R.I.P.
about being FILLED by the army that' cause its reeked FILLED great , important comrades & Philosophers for humanity & we have to take good care for them , as i can see now there's a lot of Jealous people from other new built cities that has no history
about having no bars there that because the Naserian Man used to drink at home :D
& they made those Malls just for tourism purposes just to get some money from idiots who come to buy after taking the permission to get through Nasr city gates ...
& if you are looking for a place to call the worst traffic jam on this planet then it will be a place donno if you heard about before but it's called Al Mohandseen or something like that i don't remember the name of such small cities for not being important there u can spend 2 days to find a place to park !!! cant imagine that they are living in 2008
anyway lets pray to god & heaven to keep Nasr city safe , warm & filled with its gorgeous chicks & brave warriors

and lets not forget when teeba mall was the first mall in all of cairo. second place to have bowling lanes in cairo. and ok, the ceramics are funny today, but at the time were the coolest thing. and genina mall, the best cinema group in cairo until a few years ago..

i dunno who u r but ur very mean person, first of all i dont really think u know anything about this place, the people dont think there amazing or cool whatever u said i didnt take much notice of what u said cus i was angry my boyfriend lives in this place and he is the most nicest person you could meet and its not full of malls i was there 2 weeks and i didnt even recognise 1, yeah i will admit its dirty but its full of very nice people, get a life and get lost if u dont like it.
